AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Honors
The chapter aims to host its Annual Awards Ceremony around Founders Day [December 19] each year. This signature event celebrates the chapter's accomplishments and includes five award categories: two for organizations, two for individuals, and one for the ASIS community.
1. Emerging Partner of the Year
This award celebrates companies, including manufacturers, distributors, or system integrators, that actively promote the growth of the ASIS Qatar Chapter by encouraging new memberships or renewals. Eligible companies may sponsor any individual for new or renewed ASIS membership. To qualify for this category, the company must submit a sponsorship form with the details of the ASIS members they have supported.
2. Enterprise Partner of the Year
This award recognizes companies that actively promote the highest number of ASIS Certification Courses (APP, CPP, PSP, or PCI). Eligible companies may sponsor any individual who is an active member of the ASIS Doha Chapter. To qualify for this category, the company must submit a sponsorship form detailing the ASIS members they have supported.
3. Community of the Year
The 'Community of the Year' Award will be presented to the ASIS community that has made the most significant contributions throughout the year.
4. Volunteer Appreciation & Awards
The event honors all volunteers who dedicated their time and effort over the past year. Additionally, the 'Volunteer of the Year' Award will be presented to the most exceptional volunteer.
5. Special Mention Award
This award recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to the chapter's welfare, including fostering membership growth and promoting academic excellence.
